I spent weekends setting up my own flea market tables bringing along knickknacks from my bedroom I no longer wanted, and watching with wide eyes as someone chose them like they were rare gems. That excitement of seeing objects find new life sparked something in me early on. Growing up, I’d wander estate sales and antique shops with curiosity and reverence imagining the lives each piece had touched. I even volunteered to help neighbors organize garage sales, fascinated not just by the items, but by the stories that poured out as they let things go.

           Later, my love for craftsmanship and history led me to become part of the judging panel for antique car shows, where I got to celebrate the details that make each vehicle timeless. That thread of honoring the past whether through a vintage brooch, a classic car, or a childhood toy runs through everything we do at Local Legacy.
